PRAISES

  • We had am excellent CiViL Rocketown meeting last week led by a volunteer.
  • A young man with several disabilities entered a new work program and is already having success.
  • We had a good service project with Rocketown on Saturday.
  • Jim’s knee has recovered from last Summer’s injury.
  • Touchstone received a grant from Enterprise this week.
  • The Big Blessing Benefit Sale is officially scheduled for July 31.
  • The 2021 Touchstone Tribute is scheduled for October 28.
  • A production company wants to do a video on CiViL’s annual Show Our Love service project.
  • A friend who fell and broke her arm is recovering quickly.
  • A friend with undiagnosed health concerns is able to rule out cancer.
  • A friend had successful surgery last week.

  • The family of Jesse Huang (former CiViL student) who died from injuries sustained when his motorcycle was hit by another vehicle.
  • Daniel Westbrooks (friend of TYRS who shared his story in 2020 Touchstone Tribute) & family on the death today of his brother Ryan who died from injuries sustained in a car accident.
  • Continued healing for friend who fell and sustained several injuries
  • Multiple friends battling cancer 
  • A friend needs a liver transplant right away
  • Jim’s sister is still fighting a tenacious sinus/respiratory infection
  • A friend’s sister has un-diagnosed health issues
  • Friends fighting COVID-19 and after affects

    • Revive Camp in S. AL – That students would see God for who he is and themselves as he sees them.
    • A friend has grand jury duty, and it is intense.

That a disabled friend continue to function and thrive in new program.
