  • Jim made progress on a grant essay.
  • Touchstone received a big, unexpected donation today. 
  • We will be decorating cookies w students this week!
  • We had several new students at CiViL Rocketown. 
  • We are starting to work with students whose parents were in CiViL.
  • CiViL Rocketown is starting middle school group.
  • We are grateful for our heroic frontline medical workers
  • A friend’s Christmas song is getting some radio airplay.
  • A friend received guidance about the recipient of her Advent food donation.

Touchstone/CiViL

  • Our students have midterms this week.
  • That CiViL Rocketown will go well without Melony this week.
  • Provision for a student who has moved away from home for her own safety. 
  • Rest and refreshing for staff and volunteers
  • Healing and growth for Touchstone’s counseling clients
  • Provision for 2020 4th Qtr finances
  • Touchstone needs several new board members.

Comfort and Healing

  • Melony is having dental surgery on Thursday morning.
  • A friend was injured at work and has a concussion.
  • A friend and her family will experience their first Christmas without her brother.
  • Healing for Jim’s sister who has bronchitis.
  • The toddler daughter of a CiViL alum has afever of 104.
  • Many friends and family are fighting COVID-19.
  • A friend with colon cancer is enduring very expensive and difficult treatment and by himself.
  • The 11 yr old child of a CiViL alum, recovering from sexual abuse by a family friend
  • Successful therapy and quality of life for a friend with brain cancer 
  • Our aging parents and friends
  • A friend working on alcohol recovery
  • A friend who has had a year of losses

Other 

  • Safety for a friend is flying to Texas for Christmas week
  • Guidance for a friend who will be needing a new place to live.
  • That God will provide for a friend’s homeless son, living in a tent on the West Coast, along with comfort for his family.
